There was an update on the OBDeleven a while back, I thought mine was showing as a clubsport because I had used my sisters clubsport but when I thought about it I had used it on my car after that and it was showing my car. It was after this that it started showing my car a a white 3 door clubsport and not a 5 door.

Are you using the pro version or not? I have the pro version and I only use the long coding.

As above there's been a few updates on the obdeleven app, one very recently, so make sure your app is up to date.  I used mine a couple of days ago and had to do the update first (I have pro version) then had to reselect my car again.

What's the engine code on the PP 7.5 GTI's? Or more specifically the turbo part number.

Have VW put a de-tuned R engine in the 7.5 PP? That might sound fanciful but the non PP gets a six speed DSG and the PP gets a 7 speed so maybe VW have just done a parts rationalisation. Stranger things have happened.

My GTi PP comes up as a CS on OBD Pro.

This is when I enter the vin number to identify the car.

I think the reason is the PP & CS both share the tricky diff that OBD11 has apps for which wouldn't be the case on the regular GTi.
This hasn't caused me any problems.

Have a good read through http://obdeleven.proboards.com/board/81/mk7 and learn the long coding. It is really easy when you work your way around it.

OBD11 has updated a few times lately.

Today, I cleared the cars in my "garage", the new format asks for the vehicle Vin to be entered.

I entered this for my GTi PP and it came up in the OBD11 as a a GTi Clubsport.

(Note; This has been done/updated since my post this morning!)

Looking at the apps available now on OBD11 Pro...

I have available  Scandanavian DRL's and deactivate stop/start which I have used.

There is also diff setting option of XDS interaction.

There is nothing I can't amend that was previously available to me before the update.

Sorry for the delay, I'm away at the min so not been on here quite as much!

I've used OBDeleven Pro on my GTI Facelift (non-PP) and whilst the one touch apps didn't work (said "not supported"), I have turned on Scandinavian DRLs the long way. I'm still away for a while but I've copied the following from my OBDeleven history and memory...

Click the button on the bottom right of your screen when your car is connected. It's a circle with three horizontal lines.

Go into Control Unit (09) Central Electrics.

Select Adaptations

Select "Aussenlicht_Front"

Select "Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusaetzlich Standlicht"

Change "inactive" to "active"

That should do it for you. If not, happy to do some screenshots when I'm back.

As for wrongly identifying your car, I think mine did come up as a clubsport image at first but now it definitely shows a GTI with Parker alloys!

Excellent news, I'll let you know when I'm coming to Sweden to collect my beer ;-)

I've not tried anything with start-stop but will have a look to see what I can find.

Is it the long coding you want?

Disable stop/start

1) Select Control unit 19
2) Select Adaptation
3) Select Stop start limit voltage
4) Change value to 12 (default is 7.4)
5) Press the green tick to confirm

I've linked this before, as well as the obdeleven pro forum, there's lots of coding here, where we created an obdeleven board..

Any thread with "coding" in the title is the long coding.

How sensitive are Start / Stop?!. My gti wants to be shut down though the car still rolls, so when I sneak down from a garage edge or get into the garage slowly, the car stops

So where sensitive is not my Mk7, is this a new bad thing about Mk7.5an?
