Last week we were away on a trip down south. Down the M74/M6 from Lanarkshire to Northamptonshire staying with family. Whilst down we had a trip to drayton manor (for thomasland :laugh) and twycross zoo (both aprox 45 miles each way from where we were staying). On the way back stopped in at Sheffield to see family and then via York (to go to the railway museum as). I used my 'long-term' setting on the car to keep a note of the milage and mpg..
There was a bit of running about as well, so 52.3mpg might not seem that good to some, but I was happy with it overall. On the motorways, the ACC was set to 75, unless there were limits/cameras to dictate otherwise.
Wasn't driving too fast as the mrs was with me of course, but wasn't hanging too much about either. The mpg on the trip down was much better than coming back.
When we got back I gave it a full wash on Friday morning (sorry no pics). It's going to get a full decontamination clean and coated with c2v3 this week, followed by touching up all the stone chips with a chipex kit when I get chance after that.
