WOW!!! five months since i've posted on here and done any work on the rocco :/

so havn't been able to work on ruby for a while due to circumstances but I'm back now and have started again with my build.

over this weekend i've dragged my engine out again to sort out my tired engine bay so friday the engine came out giving me room to clean things up.

so i started with the wire brush and got cleaning things up.

first was the radiator cowling so painted that up and the result speaks for its self

then made a start degreasing and sanding the gearbox and i got as far as spraying one bit with the paint a baught then got put off doing the rest as the colour on the can was nothing like the colour it came out like so did no more of that .

so to get the stress off the wrong paint out of my mind i set about upgrading my rear brakes to something more substantial so here goes some disk brakes to replace the drums with.

then started on the engine bay grinding back all the rust bubbles and blemeshes and giving whats left a key for the paaint.

then on goes the primer.

then laid some colour down and thats about it so far untill i get onit tomorow and start on the next thing
