well i can afford the car... just cant afford insurance atm, on this wage any how.. but we will see :D

Word of advice, if you're going to get a GTi or anything fast and you get your Dad to take out the insurance, and then you be a named driver (and using it the most), you'll be doing what's called as "fronting" and that is insurance invalidation.

In simple terms, you crash, insurance won't pay out.

If you can't afford to insure a faster car then don't, get something slower and just deal with it.
im not encouraging him to break the law "but"  theres no way an insurance could ever prove he was useing the car more than the main driver was tbf altho +1 on what ya saying about it being fraud
