Woo Hoo MkII Gti 16v needs your help...
« on: 11 September 2007, 19:42 »
  Hi

Yes have rolled back the years and finally re bought a MkII Golf Gti 16v. Odd being back into a car first driven 18 years ago.

But can you help? The car is completely un-modified with all original parts. However I wanted to 'engine map/tune/upgrade'... who what where or how?

Would like to change the appearance inside and out what ideas might you have? :nerd:
Where can I get the windows tinted/film near Chipping Norton OX7?
No stereo, but what should I get (must be ipod compatable)?
Any designs or input would be great!

Thanks

Ed

Engine re-map - not possible.
Tune - Exhaust, filter, WUR mod, 3A/6A/9A bottom end, P+P head, cams, etc etc etc.
Engine - VR6, 1.8T, 2.0 ABF, etc etc etc

Appearance - the list is endless, and is up to you.
Window tinting - try yellow pages, don't pay more than £250 for all windows
Stereo - try either www.caraudiodirect.com or www.cel-direct.com

It's a big wide diverse Dub world out there, so trying to list all the options would take a week or two, so I hope you don't think I'm being a knob, just try not to get ripped off which happens all too often.

Oh and welcome to the 16v owners club.

Lewy
