VRT is out, will be trying to sell most of my stuff and there is lots of it!!! Need to raise funds right now. Will be lots of stuff going cheap.

Will grab a load of pics later of the cabby purchases, pretty excited to look at it all again!

So here is what I picked up:

Colour Concept interior

Box containing interior parts and interior loom (so electric window, roof, seat loom, etc)

Mohair roof (in great condition!)

3.5 dash

3.5 mirrors

Few nice little extra bits came with it, couple of them below. Lots of extra interior parts, including sun visors with lights and a rubber mat for the center console, which I haven't seen (well one that is a perfect fit).

Handbrake lever

Door handles

Will be swapping it all in (perhaps not the dash yet), this/next week. So the stuff coming out will be going cheap!

While I have all the interior/roof out, I'll be fitting the electric windows, alarm and central locking. Getting all this sorted means I can crack on getting the bodywork sorted! I plan to have it wrapped before Xmas.

The cabio rear bench is different to standard ones, are you modifying the CC one?

Loving it, can't wait to get it all swapped over!

The interior is cabby color concept, not hatchback. All the stuff was out of a 3.5. Was pretty chuffed to get it all in one hit.

Sweet. I thought the Cabrio rear benches had a curved top section.

So been busy tonight and got the mohair roof fitted - its like new!!!

Stripped the car

It comes as an electric roof, so swapped the manual setup from my old roof onto it as I don't want electric. Really simple, thought it was going to be pain. Just bolt the motor and hydraulic setup off and bolt the manual setup on. Only other thing was the latches and release to hold the roof in place when its down, but turned out that was a simple job too!

Motor, etc off

New and old

All fitted

Mohair!

Really happy with it :)

Next is the electric windows, central locking and alarm. Then I can chuck the cherry on top and get the leathers in! Still on a debate about the 3.5 lower dash parts as the pattern doesn't match the VR6 highline handbrake surround. Think that'll be a raincheck.
