hmm is that how you do it..

usually its done with suction mounts on the car with a low exposure and a slow shutter speed.

This one looks like it could be shopped as it has no driver unless he was hiding.

New clutch? F**k.

Think its time after 10,000ish miles. Was slipping a little in 5th before, now its slipping in 3rd and 4th. Thought it might have been the DV at first, as the boost fluctuates quite a bit. Plus at the rolling road day I asked JKM if they noticed the clutch slipping and they said no, just the boost fluctuating....

I'm also wondering if it could be something else. Is there a seal in the box or something that could be leaking? Or maybe the cable for the clutch pedal needs adjusting?

Will be grabbing a new 007p anyway cause I need one and then if that doesn't make a difference I guess I'll get the box off and have a look. If its new clutch time, then so be it! Be an excuse to fit my TDI box and Mk4 shift setup.

10k is not good for a clutch, you might have oil leaking onto it from the crankshaft oil seal.

Booo what a pain in the ass, but then if you have new gear you want to put in and you're in a position to do it then now's a good time I suppose, and if Wayne's point is the issue at least you will see then.

Ah OK, I thought there was a seal that can leak, remember reading it somewhere.

I know its got a fair bit of torque/power or whatever but not THAT much to kill a clutch that quick :D Plus most of that 10k is easy driving.

Yeah that's the plan Shaun, check it out. If it happens to be the clutch, then so be it. They are easy to get ahold of on the day or next day, so no worries there.

LUK, could probs get it cheaper locally. Might be able to get a Sachs with a bit of discount too. But my current one is Sachs and if it is the clutch that has gone, I'd probably try a different one.
