Ok as some of you no i have just bought myself some new 15“ lenso bsx wheels with 195 45 15 tyres.
Bloke where i ordered them from said the normal thing to do on mk3 golf is to have an offset of et20 for a nice stance.
And i have rolled my arches so they will fit ok but i have just made some mesurments and i dont think they are going to tuck.
If my mesurments are right they are going to stick out of the arch extensions meaning im gona have to rais my coilovers up and loose my low look i love so much.

Bollox

Anybody els running et20 wheels and if so got any pics?

These are 17" (et35) with 205/40/17's running 70mm drop on the front and about 60mm on the back, rear arches were trimmed back but would still catch with weight in the back, I never touched the fronts, your et20 will be another 15mm further out.

I'd like to know how you've worked this out, guy hasn't even said how wide they are yet :undecided:

The higher the ET number the further inside the arch, so your et20 will be around 15mm further out, Lenso's will be 7" wide.

No more then that as the original wheels are et43 (I think), shape of the wheel does not matter as offset is worked out from the hubface.

Yes, they will be very close or in line with the edge of the arch.

looks like the only way to have them looking good is to stretch some tyres you think?
what do you think stretch is ok for what i want but also safe as i have kids in car?

or how do you pull arches?

I have just bought myself some new 15“ lenso bsx wheels.

You're right, you did fcuk up by buying fake split rims that can't stand up to the UK weather and will 'spider' under the lacquer in a mere few weeks.

There are much better wheels out there for the money you've spent, and 15's will look lost in a mk3 arch.
