not read all this

but deano, you have the 6.5inch mk 4 rims not the 7j plus your rocking mk 4 size rubber, hence problems,??  not getting at you pal jus thought it was worth metioning (apologies if it already has been said)

back on topic

i would say go for these out of them wheels  CARAT DUCHALET

solid rims deffo look the best, thats why i run the porsche rim on mine, gives a more mean look

you will defo have to lower it tho to pull it off right, then it will look fantastic

(mine are 16" x 8" all round too)

with around a 85mm drop on coilovers, this is what yours could look like just to give an idea, rubber is 195/45

Hi Kells     I am dropping my front end 60mm next weekend hopefully and keeping the back at 40mm. I cannot go lower as I would never to be able to take the kids out and would never get on my drive either!!!!!!  I was thinking of going to 205 45 16 rubber....what would you go to Mate ???      Cheers     Deano

195/45/16 is a better bet.

195/45x16 should be much easier to get as saxo boys run them!

Christ....If it makes it similar to a Saxo I will keep the Mark 4 balloons....rather look daft than like a girl

Kells....If mine are 6.5inch wide and managed to rub (would have rubbed even with slimmer tyres on) then wouldn't the 7inch wider wheels rub even more??  Just curiosity really....I don't care any more as mine don't rub

Look forward to lowering next week and getting pics up with "proper" tyres!!!!!!!!

Cheers     Deano

deano a 205/45 will be ok for yours mate

195/45 may look better tho, so thats what id go for, plus thats what i run on mine although with mione been a 8j wide rim i have a stretched on look

its to do with the ofset why the rub too matey

i mean mine would but i run a 30mm adapeter to fit mine on as my porsche rims are a et of something like 52 or 58 (cant remember without looking - its stamped near the valve)

look forward to the lowered pics
