martin gave me a great quote and i will be giving him a ring when my current policy runs out. ive just had a look on the admiral and got quoted over twice than what martin gave me. so swings and roundabouts

Did an online quote and it came up at £1350ish fully comp on my mk2 16v. Elephant quoted me £1075 fully comp. If HIC matched that I'd be with them no doubts.
Is it worth ringing to try and broker a deal?

yes mate, its always worth ringing (or PM'in me) if the online quote is not competitive as there are other schemes available which are not currently available online or we can refer direct to the underwriters for a deal
