Well I'm back in town and here's the update.
Had some complications with the sprayers and I wont go into detail, but I fully understand why the paintwork is like it is and why my wheels aren't sprayed. They will sort it out, but I'm giving them the time they need.
So yeah Borbet's are back on with the polished dish and primered centres. New Falken FK452's 215/40 fitted too. They look nice on tbh and really can't wait for them to be sprayed. Only thing is I'm thinking about all different colors now and I really really hate to say it and the traitor that I am but I'm thinking JDM inspired right now.......
Also got a white front badge and the Hella Twins back on and new plates and surrounds from Murray VW (Plymouth Dealer). Tints are out, stickers taken off.
I'm away again on Monday, but have got some smoked side indicators in post, new license plate led's for the rear and a new interior light as mine is sh!te. When I'm back, plans are to finish sorting wheels and paint, fit the stuff that will arrive in the post while I'm away and wait til next month for further funds!
Then I can get a new windscreen and the last piece for my electric window/mirror conversion - a drivers window regulator. Then its new mirrors and finally leccy windows!!
Shall be saving for a new set of coilovers in the time being and working on plans for my interior.
