I'm a big fan of OSIR stuff, might even get a few carbon bits when i'm feeling flush!

The paddles they did for the mk5/6 would be my choice without doubt if they ever did them for the mk7.

That's more like it   Although I again prefer the OSIR Audi ones linked at the bottom of the page.  Maybe I should have bought an Audi instead

OSIR stuff is always quality and you get what you pay for IMO.  If the Audi ones are a no go, then these would probably be next favourites so far. Just need to make them for a Mk7.  I have just emailed OSIR to ask if they will become available for the 7, unless anyone already knows?  I'll let you know what they say.

Had a reply from OSIR to my email enquiring about DSG paddle shifters for the Mk7.  They don't specifically mention them but have said they "have a whole bunch of fantastic new products coming out in the next month or so for the Golf Mk7". They will email me as soon as everything is released.   So watch this space......

OSIR was the first place I looked as the mk6 extensions were really nice and I think they fastened over the stock ones with a grub screw.

The paddles need to be tactile and sturdy for me, the only time I use them is when I'm giving it some so as I'm clicking through the gears I don't wanna be worrying about them falling off.

Yeah, they've got to be substantial which is why stick on ones are a no-no.

If OSIR do bring out Mk7 paddle shifters in coming weeks I hope they are sufficiently different to the Mk6 ones which are a bit too stubby.

Hoping also that the OSIR Mk7 goodies include a dead pedal footrest, as if their other ones are anything to go by, it should be a thing of beauty, but mega ££££ no doubt.

They already do a mk7 one:

I wish i'd seen it before i got the one from China tbh but it's still decent, if i do decide to get a few OSIR goodies i'll just sell this one on for a few quid.

Cheers Jimble   How did I miss that!  Looks great, much nicer than the one I been eyeing up, but expensive.  The shopping list just got costlier!!!  Wonde what new stuff they're releasing soon?

Thanks

There's one about  that looks like an exact OEM match to the pedals, is that teh Chinese one? I'd rather have one that looks OEM.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

Yeah, that's the one I've bookmarked and was intending to buy, but I do like the OSIR one.  Hmm, decisions, decisions!
