Rev limiter

Does the mk4 bounce off the rev limiter like a ctr,or is it more like the old digifant  cut in power?

it bounces... and thanks for reminding me of that god awful cutout on my rallye. first time it happened i sh!t meself, thought i'd blown something up!

AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

Lol same here,i did it on my way home from buying it,thought i killed it.
Never took a mk4 that high up the rev range,so didn't know how the limiter worked on them.
