Title: wow! exciting!.... err, towbar anyone?
Post by: ginger_ninja on 08 August 2006, 15:59
posted in the TDI section but from a towbar point of view does petrol/diesel matter?

hello all - I'm new to this site, first post so be gentle with me!

I have a 51 plate GT TDI 130 5 door [second 130 I've had, I love it]

am wanting to fit a towbar for towing a [motorcycle] trailer

know nothing about towbars - have avoided the old pipe n slippers til now - but needs must

anyone got any recommendations / advice on the exciting topic of towbars?

would prefer a 'detachable one' for looks but they're not cheap.  No parking sensors fitted [one little gem I've discovered already]

cheers all in advance
Jim

try that....

not very exciting... its a towbar... but its a detatchable one... so if you mount it decent enough and hide the leccy sockets its only there when your towing... which when you have a nice jetski/motorbike on the rear is cool.... but a towbar with nowt on is really alan partridge.....
