Looks likely Button will be in a McLaren then.

It's got all the hallmarks of another classic Button Contract Cock Up. MGP are goign to be the ones to beat next year and he should be sat in one not a McLaren playing 2nd fiddle to Lewis.

I'm gutted that Brawn is now the factory Merc team. It was such a British team before but now it's already being touted as full on return of a factory Merc team like in the 50's. It seems the Merc publicity machine is glossing over the fact that the cars are built in Brackly UK and the Engines by Ilmore, erm also in the UK!!!

absolutely... I am gutted that 'Brawn' is no longer 'Brawn' as such... was such a feel good season as far as the underdog was concerned.

+1 It wont be the first time Button made a bad decision.

Anyone want to buy my Brawn GP Fleece top thingy? Only worn every other Sunday for the past 3 months?

I wouldnt sell it. As well as being from what was my favourite team, and World championship winners, its actually a nice jumper too - because of the lack of sponsoring, its quite discreet.

Not unless I could pull off a Ross Brawn type deal - buy for £1 and sell for a couple of million!
