Great work yet again Rich
Check out this bargain, it'll do every external joint you can think of, and save you a small fortune in grinding materials, you'll save days and days on the next one!                        http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spot-Welder-240-volt-Model-09654-/140896478194?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20ce15a3f2

Looking better and better!

What's a rough restoration cost on one of these?

My mate has recently picked up one for 150 quid! As he's a lucky bastard!

Although his circumstances have changed so we're thinking restore it for profit. Failed MOT on subframe and sills are wrecked. Had an appalling respray as well which has blistered badly. It's got bucket seats and harnesses so would need a full interior.

Just wondering what it would cost us to restore? Welding not a problem. Would probably prefer to buy panels rather then attempt to fabricate them.

Cheers!

Where all my moneys went.

Well i spent about 2k on mine (the other thread) that includes all new parts wheels panels and paint, we did do all the work inc welding and paint ourselves though, local mini specialist has valued mine at 4.5 - 5 k
