Welding should hopefully commence next week!

Nice project! With all the work you have to do, would you not be better getting it dipped or blasted before you get stuck into the welding?

Look forward to seeing this progress.I had a similar ball ache with an old 1980 Toyota celica.Looked better than this metal wise but it will be well worth it.

Just out of interest is your yard a graveyard for old yankee day vans?Be interested to see what you got in there

Drop a small-block Chevy V8 in it. You KNOW you WANT to!! 

Sort of - extra wide ZG flares and front air dam will be the only mods really - apart from full cage from front to back and an LSD rear diff from something with independant suspension and that can take 500ftlbs of torque from...yes a small block chevy. Not a 350 though - bored and stroked.

A 383 stroker would do the trick.

I considered stroking my Corvette, but sold it about a month ago.
