Welcome

Fastest colour to get dirty me thinks, though saying that there is a "just a GOLF" in the next street that is candy white and looks dead smart

Cheers guys, my current car goes this week, a Discovery 3 then got the use of the wifes new golf Tdi so not all bad during the wait.

I had a go in a 13k miler at a local dealer and was really impressed but 2nd hand values are nuts, so decided to pay the extra bit and get a new one. Glad I did.

I did swither over the colour as the car I seen was in Silver and nice, then seen a red one and though...that's the one, then I seen a white one and made a snap decision   so it's team white

You will love this car, especially when the engine loosens up. In gear pace is startling, so much so you would be mad to go for the petrol equivalent. If you add this to the fact that the car gives the same MPG in real life as a 1.3 CDTI Corsa, then you realise that it is truly a cake and eat it kinda car!

Cheers chaps

That's me now carless awaiting the GTD's delivery. Although now sharing the wife's Mk6 tdi 's' which is okay and will make the GTD seem even sweeter when it arrives.
