Hire cars without O&M Instructions
« on: 10 January 2011, 16:08 »
I've just picked up a late 2010 GTD 170 5Door in white which is really impressive. However, the leasers do not include the manuals with the vehicle even though they know its a rolling hire for 12 months. I t would be nice to set up the Blue Tooth! Does any body know where I can get a cheap paper copy or down load the owners manual - the loacl VW agent says they are £60!

I'd have thought it'd be a legal requirement to supply a manual so you know how all the controls work.
What if you crash and claim that it's because you didn't know how a particular control worked? You would have a good case.
Get onto the hire company.

And welcome!

The thing about dealing with challenges is they give you an opportunity to rise to them - which I did and bought the full set of Golf Owner Hand book stuff in its folder etc for £16 ( it came this morning).
