Is that you as main driver? I wont have a hope in hell of getting insured as main. Stick your mum as main driver and you was named and see what you get.

Martinb look away now ! ;)

If you go on that website and fill out your details etc im sure someone will give you a figure. Im interged as to what the cost would be lol.

I remeber when I was 18 filling out insurance quotes I filled one out for a Lotus Elise. Cheapest was £7995 fully comp for the year. They went as high as £11,000 for the year.

I can beat that! £16,000 for a clio williams and I was 21!!!

WHAT !? Thats only got a 2.0L lump in it (from memory?) and isnt hugely expensive. Did it have gold plated wheels or something on it?

Ha ha dunno - all the other quote were quite reasonable (around £1400 + from memory - but I did have no no-claims) I think it was just their way of letting me down gently!!

Parker - I think moneysupermarket and confused are the main ones, if they're running slow I suggest trying again when they're likely to be less busy - also try direct line seperartly, for some reason they won't use any price comparison sites.

I just put "car insurance price comparison" into google and there's loads!

But careful though - because some add commision on to the price
