Boost Hose
« on: 25 March 2010, 09:46 »
Having fitted the boost pipe myself (your probably thinkin well whats the big deal you did it yourself but its bloody good considering a girl did it all by myself!)

Anyway is there any way I can attach something else on it to ensure it is kept in place?

Not really as you're stuck with the rubbish OEM clip system

Only way is to replace or cut the lugs off the pipe at the EGR end and then replace the EGR itself with a delete pipe and use a big clamp to hold it in place

EGR delete pipe is approx £65

It's the aftermarket hose that's expensive (circa £130) or as i said you cut the metal piece off your existing hose so you can slide it onto the EGR delete pipe and then use a jubilee clip to clamp it in place
