Carried out an oil and inspection service today as the lights been on for a week.

Had all the wheels off to do a brake fluid change and cleaned all the brake calipers whilst i was at it.

I even managed to update the online digital service record too.

Are the light tints done with film? Pro job or DIY? I've been thinking of them for a while and think it looks really tidy on yours.

Changed the air and pollen filter, ordered new oil and filter too. Also drained half a tank of fuel in an early morning blast down the coast in sports mode.

DIY wet applied film, was sceptical but they fit great and I'm happy with the look..

Just got back from a weeks holiday in Wales - Kent to Castlemartin in Pembrokeshire.

50.4 mpg out, 51.3 mpg on the way back... nice loads of quite roads and switchbacks to give it some stick while there.

Now covered in grime from sitting and watching the crashing waves.. just one day to get it sorted before back to work on Monday

Don't know how you get this mpg. Never get better than about 42 even when driving like Miss Daisy! Wales is a nice holiday location. Used to spend a lot of time there in unusual spots in forests on rallies.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.
