I know right! I just looked at the stuff and then at my car and thought there's no way its gonna swallow all that but it did, just about! Needs must though and this is the beauty of a hot hatch that it can do this sort of thing when I need it and then it can plant a smile on my face :)

Scrape gonna need some paint unfortunately, maybe its the opportunity I need to pluck up the courage and have a go at touching it up, sanding and polishing myself, who knows!

It's really annoying but mistakes happen and it was a tight street I guess. More annoying that they didn't leave a note or anything but I'm not gonna let its spoil whats otherwise been a lovely evening.

Very nearly joined the RAF back when I was 23.  Got shortlisted down to final 12 women for pilot / navigator officer commission (at that time it was the second only ever group of women applicants for pilots).  Spent a week at Biggin Hill doing various tests/interviews.  Missed out on pilot / nav but got offered air traffic control.  Didn't take it up but was an experience I'll never forget

Did a mini photo shoot with it.  Needed to do some new photos for my submission to VW Driver mag, so headed off to the glamour of the local industrial estate at 6am this morning

Looks stunning Booth11. You can't beat a well cared for black car. Your paintwork is so shiny, it looks almost like liquid

Checked the tread depth on my tyres - Bridgestones

They've done just over 22k miles and the fronts still have over 4mm of tread, with 5-6 mm on the rears. Although I don't like Bridgestones, this set seem to be lasting forever; much longer than the Bridgestones did on my mk5 - got 16k out of the fronts on the mk5.

Been away for the last few weeks, looking forward to going for a drive, started the engine and with a horrible noise from under the bonnet, got out and checked to find a rabbit chilling under the bonnet eating my car... Anyone know best place to buy a new bonnet heat proof cover thing
