We want to make this very clear right from the outset.. we cannot promise to help every golfgtiforum.co.uk member, we have some criteria to be met and also some exclusions. If we cannot help you, we can only apologise. For the majority however, we should be competitive and be able to provide an excellent level of cover.

Hi,

I can list some areas we have excluded and will continue to exclude, we do review our postcodes criteria / restrictions on a regular basis so I am not going to post up a full list as it will change and it will cause confusion.

Excluded areas:

'M' Manchester
'L' Liverpool
'OL' Oldham
'BL' Bolton
'BD' Bradford

In most other areas we will look at each case on it's own merit, some higher risk areas will be subject to extra criteria, eg security device must be fitted, off road parking etc

I rang up earlier as I am probably moving house soon and its looking like we will be going to a BB3 postcode. Apparently my policy will not cover this region. Is this an absolute criteria or negotiable? The car will be locked in an alarmed garage. Policy is with Markerstudy btw.

Bottom line is I would rather not leave you guys, so is there anything you can do?

Hi Dave,

yes we should be able to help, we may be able to use your named driver experience as well if claim free. We can only offer TPFT cover for under 21 years olds though.

thats just racism against us northern monkeys lol,how come theres no exclusions down south ie london areas

i would recommend you try these when its time to renew especially if your car has a few bits added.

the guy i dealt with was Luke and was very helpful and knew his stuff with regards the car and bits ive added etc.

They beat my renewal quote from Adrian Flux by over £270 and after phoning around other insurers the best quote I had was still over £80 more than the one I accepted. Same benefits as the other insurers too and in one detail were actually better - Lower excess by £50.

Used the 20% discount off here which helped a lot. :cool:
