High beam assist

Looking at the configurator today it’s says high beam assist is now only available
as part of a £1120 package  .
Any ideas if this is true or just another VW error

It's no longer available... Comes as part of lane assist as dynamic headlights, the sort that mask off other vehicles rather than just dipping. It's 630 quid...

thats a shame because I ordered it stand-alone and found it really useful so far; I think it s a good safety feature too because everyone forgets once in a while not to dazzle.

You only picked your car up the other day... its a 7.5 yes?

HBA hasn't been an option on the 7.5...

If you've got anything, its the dynamic light assist that is part of lane assist (it uses the same camera unit, which also gives you traffic sign recognition)

High beam assist is still available for the SE, GT, R Line and GTE models.

Interesting.... and I forget there other other Golf's than the GTD/GTI/R
