Title: Quick detailer - Reccomendations
Post by: davidp81 on 12 June 2017, 14:12
Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a decent quick detailer to use for topping up a bit of shine between details? I also find a QD to be a life saver on DBP to clear up any water marks when the sun is out and the water dries faster than I can get round the car drying it!

I've just run out of Zaino Z6 which I thought was really good and also nice and easy to use. I would happily stick with it but it is always out of stock when I look on CYC, I've also tried Dodo Red Mist but found that a bit too fine and trickier to use so probably wouldn't buy again.

Those are the only ones I've tried so thought I'd see if there is something out there that people swear by?

Thanks for your help!

Bouncers Done and Dusted - great stuff. Currently using Chemical Guys Speed Wipe, very good and happy with it but prefer Bouncers.

Brilliant product - the only I've used that really is wipe on wipe off.

Bouncers Done and Dusted https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bouncers-Dusted-Quick-Detailer-500ml/dp/B00W9O3Q1A

or Chemical Guys Speed Wipe. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-sprays/chemical-guys-speed-wipe/prod_180.html

Both are excellent QD's, Bouncers is marginally easier to use. Both are considerably easier to use than Red Mist which can be a pain to buff off if you leave it a second too long.

If you want to push the boat out then Swissvax Quick Finish. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/swissvax-quick-finish.html

Or Swissvax Lotospeed.  http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/swissvax-lotos-speed-cat14.html

Currently using the latter for in-between top ups on mine and love it.

That's great, thanks all for the help.
Think I'll make the most of having Amazon Prime and give the bouncers a go!

1 more quick question  whilst cleaning I found 2 or 3 very small stone chips on the bonnet

Think I'll give a Chipex kit a go to fix, would you say this is the best option or is there anything better out there for DBP paint?

Thanks again for the tips!
