As I drive a derv but aint really seeing the miles anymore probably due to winter weather (had a new MAF and was tested a few months back by tropher) and believe all is fine. Would I be better getting an LPG conver? Would I lose power etc?

Stick with it.  Lower mileage only occurs for about 3 months out of the year and even then you'll see more than the petrol counterparts.
