Your all missing maximuse's point.
It is dangerous to fit a 54inch plasma in a GTI even HD would not give a clear picture sitting that close.

think of the suntan though

It would fook the handling - some serious understeer - nearly as bad as an R32!

Fair point TT... like you said "will understeer if YOU dont know how to drive.."

Better stick to the Rs4 where you can just scare off people with the noise

Was having a look at a very tidy 70" Samsung at work today, it was only £26K or if your feeling flush there's the gold plated bling 71" LG at £70K

^^^^ I am confused by R32's comment about the auto update as well TBH.

The data I put together includes the following: -

1 - All known Fixed camera broken down by speed limit. (with speed limit icons)

2 - Traffic Light Cameras (Blue traffic light icon)

3 - All known Mobile Camera sites. (Orange Mobile GATSO icon)

Here an example screen shot: -

Steve, I would love to get that setup in my car - I have the RNS510 albeit the Seat Version in mine, and was actually searching for some MDI info when I came across your post.

How would I get hold of/use that sort of data?

I've got an R32 arriving next week, with the MFD3 sat nav, and about the only downside with it is the lack of speed camera warnings.  It's something that I might need, as the R32's a fair bit quicker than my current car.
