Also last night i managed to trace my boot leak! was a broken lens where sombody had reveresed into the car when stored.  I had another set of OEMs to replace the ones i smoked.  put them on and all good.  Also after the rewire i had a disco on the same side, you know , when the indicators and lights are on, everything kinda does a dull flash together on that side! turned out to be a loose connection.

Ok, so fitted the rear collies, i found it more of a pain than the front, getting the old ones out was nowhere near as easy as getting the new ones in!  all mounts have had a smidge of LM grease on them to help protect the turrets (since they are still mint) and to avoid any squeeky noises appearing)

Taking short cuts!  havent given the inner arches the same TLC as I did the front as I am trying to get it road worthy quickly now... going to have to do the attention to detail stuff after i've MOT'd it.

Nicely mounted with pollys

Couple of shots of the car...

The rears are fully wound all the way up, they are as high as they will go and the car looks slightly lower than before... confused???

Well i hit a stroke of luck, the dude that i bought my £10 bumper from was kind enough to cut this off his breaker for me:

dont need all of it, just a bit for the inch of crisps behind the windscreen rubber... circled area is the problem area on mine... he gave me more than enough to play with for another tidy some of......... £10!

Ok, so have had a week off work to try and get as much done to the car as poss (rained quite a bit!  ).. gonna post whats been going on.

Seats arrived....

Heres one next to my old Drivers side heated Recaro

it had to go, it was fooked and when the heat was on it smelt bad

Carpets aren't in yet but wanted to see how at least one of them was like fitted.  was a pain to get them setup right with the new brackets...  on the shortest setup i think the seats are still too high, i'm pretty tall and with these in, my head only just clears the roof!.. may have to get something welded in at a later date, i'll post a pick of one fitted later as i havent got one.

(more coming very shortly)
