The only time I saw one was while in town, those Austins look fantastic reflected in the shop windows....



They are coming over thick and fast now though so it won't be long.

I'm hoping not to see any in my area, although my dealer claims they're selling locally like hot cakes. I want to have dibs on head turns.

Picked up my 5dr GTI on Wednesday from Bradford then had to travel to Ipswich and then back up to my home town of Newcastle. In that round trip of 600 miles I didn't see one GTI!!!

Does anyone know how many GTIs have been sold and how many will be released in the UK over the next year? I must admit I quite like having a 'limited number' car  :laugh:
