Day, Night & Automatic screen mode?

In the screen options, there is an option for day, night or automatic view.

I can't tell the difference between them, makes no difference?

Its always black background etc.

Am I missing something?

It's only for the Nav screen maps I think.

Yup, only the map nav screen that changes, same as any boggo nav system mate.
