Well, I might as well speculate on a car that has no future release date...it can't hurt can it?!

Anyone any idea when the Ed40 will be due out?  And the likely spec? 

Been googling it but not really found much info.

Picking my new GTI up next week, and already I'm planning the next one....

Edition 40 would stand for the GTI's 40 year anniversary so yes 2017! If they release one, which I'm sure they will.

I'm not fussed about how much power it has. I just want one to polish and take to shows in 20 years time with hardly any miles on it.
