ALBEEEEY Mk4 GTTDi - Slowly does it
« on: 28 June 2012, 22:04 »
Decided to post in here too so I can receive sarcasm some feedback on my mods to date. Slowly does it though because in the current circumstances I have no money!!

Here's a few pictures from the advert;

It came with a few months tax and a full 12 months MOT  :laugh:

First thing I had to do (should be made compulsory  :grin: ) Forum Stickers

next I decided to do the sharan badge mod, but did it with a passat badge (slight concave)

after

Next up was the DIY door triggers for that brushed aliminium/ R32 look

Before;

After;

Then brushed ali trim for the radio cage (not sure how long this will stay or if I like it  :undecided: )

and the last mod i've done was to paint the engine bay with leftover paint from the sharan badge  :laugh:

before;

first coat;

finished;

As you'll notice all of the mod's so far have either been EXTREMELY cheap or free. The joys of being a student  :cry:

so much more to come . . . I promise  :cool:

That's what happens when you borrow money to buy a car and have no job  :lipsrsealed:

liking the mods mate.  grille work does wonders for the front end.  Also like the brushed fascia surround.

alternator decided to break though so drove home with no electrics/power steering.

also didnt go faster than 30mph because of the awful grinding of the driveshaft on the ARB. Should be fitting TT ARB today  :smiley:
