Title: Anyone used https://www.new-car-discount.com/
Post by: Sniffer77 on 14 September 2017, 15:20
Hi all
Anyone used https://www.new-car-discount.com/

Been looking at a gti but they quoted £27k for a vanilla golf R which has grabbed my attention

I understand they buy the car in your name but care of ......and then do an address change in log book so you are the first owner etc.

Any experiences ? Price appears great but with reservations

Cheers

No, but sounds fishy to me. DtD are offering a basic GTI ar £23.9k and an R at £27.7k. I'd rather spend a touch more for the reassurance.

I may well be mistaken, but some of these brokers where there is logbook shenanigans don't always give you manufacturer backed finance offers. Not a problem for some, but always worth checking.

As Watts says, DtD will be less risky as they give you pretty much the same experience as using your local dealer, albeit there will probably be further to travel.
