You wont get temporary cover anywhere in the uk mate for a temp plan you need to be 21 or over with any company

https://www.tempcover.com/TempCover/tcvCarIns.aspx   read that thats just 1 of many if you google and they all state the same bud  hope this helps the only thing you could try do is go on your folks incurance it will be less and you can remove a 2nd party at a very small cost to the policy :D

That is ONLY true, if you don't have a current policy, but if you have a car insured with a company, then you CAN get a temporary cover for a second car without the matter, if you are 21 or less.

Usually the minimum period you can insure a car for is 1 week.

Yes i get that but he clearly doesnt have a policy so thats why i stated that he wont get cover under 21 without having a current policy most major companies require 1 month minmum and if you pay monthly a depsoit is required and a cancelation fee is also required so would be a very expensive month :D

Mate go to ecar insurance and get a pay as you go policy. It'll renew itself each month until you cancel it

Mate I think you'd be better off buying one of the below £500 1400cc golfs and running that, then sell it on. That's a hella lot a car to be insuring
