£150 to spend....
« on: 09 November 2006, 22:23 »
Right my Sony CDX MP40 is playing up. Had it for 2 years, and it only reads disk when you first insert them, won't resume the disk if the car/HU has been switched off. I have to eject and reload CD for it to play....

So I want a new HU, will spend up to £150 or so.

Needs to have a pre-out for my amp/sub, no plans to add any more amps. A AUX in for my MP3 would be handy but not essential.

I don't want anything that looks ridiculous, I like the cool understated look!

Any recommendations?

Have a look at empiredirect.co.uk, there pricing is very good although they don't carry the range they used to.

Your best looking for a second hand unit on ebay. You can pick up some real bargains. Id go for one of the pioneer units with built in bluetooth.
