Like I said - you have no option on this.  Tell me which show you're going to tip up at with this and I will personally cheer you in the entrance.

:D WIll have to roll up to JKM with my duck call! I wonder if you can get a Wookie call!?!? That would be sweet!

Had a little look over it today. Doesn't appear to be much to do for the MOT, guess I will find out soon! Will be claiming for a new windscreen next week and that's about it for the MOT side of things.

In other news, had another issue with the car. Steering related now. Car feels like the steering rack is loose or like the camber/toe is changing itself. Will be double checking everything is tight when I have more time next week. After a quick check today, I couldn't find anything loose, steering rack bushes seemed fine too.

Had the car aligned and camber set not long ago, but was thinking maybe after a few harsh bumps the tracking might have been knocked out, so will get that checked.

Also, might fit new ball joints. I can't hear any knocking sounds, but it won't hurt.

It is strange, it doesn't feel like the tracking is out, cause sometimes it drives true, but then it will suddenly throw a wobbly and try to change lanes itself. Its worse on lift-off. Car feels best when I plant my right foot, so I'm safer then tbh :D

Its annoying with my MOT due on 5th, but I'm sure its nothing too complicated, just got to try and find out what it is!

Possibly normally referred to as 'tramlining' due to dumb-f*ck width tyres and wheels.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Haha, no doubt the tyres, rims and lows plays its part in the issue!

Its worse than that though, something has got to be loose. That's typical me though, not tightening things properly :D

Tyres all fine?

My tight as a duck boss has an Escort that if you're accelerating and hit pot holes is VIOLOENTLY throws you onto incoming traffic, engine braking and into the curb.

But it's the tyres on it.

No buldges or anything?

Where all my moneys went.

Tyres are fine, pressures are correct. I really reckon something is loose!

Mine was doing this because the ball joint on the near side went.

It meant there way loads of play.

Did you have any knocking noises? I was thinking ball joints, as they a year old now and I know on lowered cars they don't last that long!

Yeah, had all kinds of crazy noises!

Just jack the front of the car up and give the wheels a good shake to see if theres play.

If you run it for too long with knackered ball joints it'll kill your bearings and possibly your hubs too.

Mmm, see I have no noises, no knocking when I shake the wheel. Both wheels feel solid when the car is jacked. Will have a listen under the car when my mate turns the wheel and see what I can hear. I thought it might have been the rack a little loose.

I got a feeling the two lower hub to strut bolts might be a little loose, but I'll find out tomorrow if anything is loose.

In other news, I have been running on V-Power and not Tesco fuel. Only reason I used Tesco 99 was I have 3 Tesco petrol stations close to me and I like the clubcard points. The nearest Shell garage is a bit more of drive. I'm going to try BP super on my next refill and see how that compares. Be interesting to see if the drop in octane makes a HUGE difference. Car is mapped to run on 97...
