Hello guys, I am new to the forum!
I am not a mechanic or knowledgeable about cars. I joined this forum to ask this question - My car got the engine replaced after it overheated, and since then the turbo hasn't worked. The mechanic assures me its been fit properly and probably some hose is leaking pressure or something. Now the part where you all laugh at me. I have attached some pictures taken from my phone while holding it over the back of the engine, where I believe the turbo should be. Could someone check these photos and show me where the turbo is, or if it is not in these pictures, could you explain where on the pictures I would find it, i.-e. "A bit off to the left on pic 3" or "behind that black hose on pic 2" etc.
The reason I am asking, is because, combined with my bad knowledge, I believe the mechanic might be dishonest with me, and may have inserted a piece of pipe and welded it in, in the section where the turbo should be. Remember, I know nothing about cars, so go easy! TIA.
