this is what i was thinking ! do you not advise it wayne !

yea gonna get out there this weekend and try and do as much as i can, thought about getting a roll cage made, up but it will be easyer to just buy one and bolt it in and my mate over the rd will weld it in for me, fire extinguishers maybe one in the passenger footwell and one in the back or both on the floor infront of each seat ?

surely if you have a cage properly fitted then is there need to worry...?

Would not be my choice, it would leave some strength in the doors if left, be carefull with making a cage due to the regs that may cover it.

Yes and no, I would still leave them in, also makes it easier if you ever want to conver back.

ok, i was only really gonna cut them out more so for looks as i wont be loosing that much weight by getting rid, anyway im gonna shut up now and crack on .........

true i suppose, but i think hes past that point now

cant be that much weight to save from a few struts of metal too...?

yeah i think you've made the right choice, safety needs to be a huge feature if you're gonna throw yourself around a track

are you going to keep it road legal? or trailer it?
