wheels and PCD
« on: 11 November 2004, 11:49 »
my mate has an Audi 80 gt coupe and has some aftermarket wheels which he says i can have for my golf.

only thing is he thinks they are 4x108 pcd.

Is this right? and am i correct in asuming that they wont fit a golf then?

thought audi wheels fitted golfs fine ???

nope they won't fit :(

things like audi TT are 5/100 so they also fit mk3 and mk4 golf

if you have a mk1 or mk2 you need 4/100 pcd

big shame :( classic wheels those. in the early 90's they were THE wheel to put on your mk2, now you rarely see a set - what happened to them all!?

jv, if they were the wheels to put on mk2s then there must be some adaptors about then ? The cost of some adaptors might be a small price to pay for some free wheels  :)

nah, you are looking at it the wrong way around  :P  you could (can?) buy them in the correct 4/100 fitment so adapters are not an issue.
