hi there, i jut swapped my euro corsa for a mk1 cabby so i thought i would join up on here, i have always wanted a mk1 golf since i first ever saw one at the age of about 3! lol and now i have one and i love it, heres a pic of my corsa:

sorry for all the pics and the quality of them!

to all the people interested in the corsa, its was a 1.6 sport running at around 168 bhp, spent silly money on it and then swapped it!! lol
as for the golf, i love more and more every time i see it,

interior ( 02/10/08 ) thanks to a brilliant mate (also my boss and owner of mcd vaux where i work) mark, who helped me out big time and tbh did most of the work and showed me whats what! lol

I actually like that Corsa too.

Love the cabby, that colour is going to look good in the summer. Only thing I would change though is the rear lights. Look much better with half and halfs.

I'm gunna say it too... I do actualy like that corsa, still would never have one but definately the best ive seen - must be cos its euro'd!

Loving the mk1 mate look forward to seeing what you do to it

thanks very much for the comments, the corsa was anice car but getting to that stage in its life where it was just starting to cost money so i think i got rid of it at the right time!
it should all be up and running in 2 weeks (hopefully) then the fun begins with modifying!

Good move mate! I used to be a Vauxhall mechanic, but since driving VW's, I'd never go back! Nice Mk1 too! Notice it has a mark 2 dash. Pain to fit?

thanks for the comment, the dash went straight in no problem, i dont know if its like that on all mk1's but it went into mine without any fuss or bother, its the engine im having trouble with, i have a mk2 manifold to go with the mk2 gti engine but have been told i need a 'conversion manifold' cant i not just modify the original?

Welcome to the site by the way. I like the colour of your cab, I don't like the rear lights or the front lights and debadged grille, but it's your car not mine so good luck with it and excuse me for not liking your corsa, nothing personal, I just can't stand them.
