Right I've just spoken to him again.

It's done 165k miles. And he says it'll need new bonnet lifters and one door and the boot looking at cos of some rust.

Other than that it's pretty good! He's always put VW parts on when required and it's just had an MOT. It failed on a cv boot with a split in and the passenger door lock was sticking. So they have both been sorted. (personally didn't think that was at all bad for a car of that age).

It's taxed until june

It has also had recent new drums, new exhaust and new valves in the engine.

Mercifully whilst at the mot another guy saw it outside and asked if he was selling the car and asked how much. Now he doesn't know what it's worth and said £1500-1000.

Is this nearer to being about right? I've got him taking some pics for me so will hopefully get them posted tomorrow.

He's definatley buying a corrado vr6 storm so wants to sell his but also doesn't want to get ripped of for it. I'll get the pics posted as soon as I can so hopefully you'll have a bit more to go on.

Ade

sounds a bout right really for a mark 1, especially a campaign model!

but as u say with the addition of pictures it would be easier to tell.

it seems daunting at first, well it was for me but its easy really:

go to www.photobucket.com get urself an account on there, its free by the way. then upload ur pics from ur pc onto photobucket then once ur photo has been up loaded copy and past the contents of the bottom box onto a post! easy as!
