Just replaced the button cell in my key, lasted nearly 4 years though which I consider quite good.

I don't have keyless start which I believe drains the power quicker.

Yes, the key fob batteries do seem to last much less with keyless entry / keyless start.

I don’t have keyless, and my original key fob battery is still going strong at 4.5 years old. Sold my previous car at nearly five years old and it was still on the original key fob battery too.

Well yesterday actually, ran over the biggest pot hole on earth at about 35mph (sure I could see some Kangaroos in the bottom). There was an almighty bang as the front nearside hit it. Pulled over straight away to check for a shredded tyre / wheel, and to my surprise - nothing.

Walked back to check the pothole and using my site ruler in the boot, measured it at nearly 30cm long, 18 cm wide and a whopping 13cm deep !!!

Drove back very slowly on the motorway at 60mph inside lane just in case the TPMS flashed on or I started to feel a vibration or rumble from the front or rear, but got home just fine. Took the wheels off last night expecting to see a buckled alloy or bulge in the tyre wall, but again nothing. I must have been so lucky as that hole was a wheel destroyer. The 19" Brescia alloy must be stronger than I thought ?

Just a couple of shots of my Indium Grey GTI Performance with its new wheels, replacing the Parkers.

That's a bloody steep hill. I'd put a chock under the wheels if I was going to leave it too long.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Fitted genuine Prets to my 2019 PP and replaced the standard Miltons. Very pleased with how it looks.
