Which way do you go home from work? Could you come along the a690 to my mams where you came before? Then you're straight out to a19 and home.

That's a possibility, usually passing there at about 5pm, if you're around at that time?

I go the A690 all the way to the A19 and then up now - it seems quicker than going up the A1, forking off at Washington services and along the A194 to get stuck at White Mare Pool roundabout for ages before getting onto the A19 near the tunnel (which is what I was doing for the first few weeks). As longas you hit the A19 before the Doxford Park traffic pours out then you're laughing.

I don't suppose they have any Road sweeper type things knocking around?  Modern ones use some sort of radar to track the kerb,  those definitely act like a military jammer!

Noticed a small crack in the windscreen, on the passenger's side. Will need to check my docs as to how much the excess is to replace (expecting £75, it might be £100!  ). Any suggestions for claim handling advice? Do all the MK7 models have the slight green tint, or could the performance Golfs have a windscreen fitted that has more tint?

Don't want to end up with a generic windscreen that has an odd level of tint.

They're all the same. Just make sure that they know it has the rain sensor.

Installed half the sport and sound pack....by which I mean I painted my calipers. Know it'll be a bit "marmite" but I'm happy with them.
