Today it was MOT'd. Good for another year...

‘Tis a good feeling.
My son’s Aygo passed today, no advisories and it’s not exactly the best looked after car on the planet

Another main dealer service and clean Mot pass for mine, I have clearly ramped up the mileage between Mot's since lockdown, a whole 1600 miles this year! :)

Gave her a full winter detail and a new set of Pilot sports on my winter wheels. Excuse the rusty discs :smiley:

I took ours for it's MOT today which it passed no problem, although the tester said that whilst the front pads had plenty of material left the sensor wire may wear through pretty soon.

A job for the Xmas holiday, weather permitting.

Just had this nasty pointy sharp thing removed from my rear nearside. Swapped out the flat for the spare, took it around to our local formula 1, and after some chin scratching they reckoned it was possible to repair with a plug (it was quite close to the shoulder).
30 minutes and £23 pounds later it was all fixed. Great service, top value and quick work

Looks good . Carbon Grey with VW Rotary alloys is a great combination (my mk6 GTD was that combination of paint colour and alloys - kept my Rotary’s on all year round).

IMHO VW Rotary or VW Motorsport alloys were some of the nicest 18” wheels (both from the VW accessories range) that VW sold for the Golf.

£23 for a routine plug…??  Am I the only one highly confused. I’d repair that myself at the side of the road
