Finally got two of my all season tyres refitted onto the replaced Belvederes. Checked them when I was putting them away and I've got 70g of weight on inside and 10g on the outside. Was thinking of asking them to rotate the wheel to reduce the amount of weight!
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

Put a new coil pack on cylinder 4 as it was misfiring reducing mpg, cylinder 3 has a very slight misfire but not frequent enough to warrant a new coil pack will replace all 4 next time it gets spark plugs as parts department told me the mqb coil packs don't like being removed.

Also fitted the squeezy PCV breather hose to the turbo elbow, to avoid having to ever deal with that connection ever again...

Those coil packs can be a right pain to remove.

VW say to remove whilst the engine is warm and to apply silicone grease to the rubber boot to aid refitting.

Some stretch like you think somethings gonna let go, then twang, it comes off.

I used the VW coil pack tool and it was very easy, get the plug off the coil pack was the more annoying bit.

Got it off eBay - part number 06K103213J would definitely be cheaper from VW but eh.

What is the benefit or advantage of this breather pipe over the standard fitment?
Thanks!

It’s the pipe with the squeeze connection to the turbo elbow, no other difference. Just did it for handiness.

Where did you get the tool from, anywhere in particular??
