Reminds me of the 2nd car I owned back in 1983 - Mk3 Cortina.

Reminds me of a vauxhall viva lol, steering wheel was all over the place trying to drive straight...

I remember my brother's dog ate the interior of his Vauxhall Firenza (a long time ago) and it had the same wheel !
Previous owner of many Golfs and GTIs. Now Audi S3.

Had one of those too, firenza rust bucket, very tempremental too....didnt have it long though, went to a mark 1 golf gti after that

Took mine into the dealers. 5F infotainment unit in the glovebox needs replacing and I've also got the dreaded leaking rear door speakers. £3200 of work, thankfully all covered under the All-In warranty.
2017 (67) GTI PP DSG. Tungsten Silver with DCC, Art Velours, Dynaudio, Climate Screen, Tints, Keyless, Rear Camera, Lane Assist, Seville wheels.

How did the 5F break?

It went completely dead. £2,683 alone just to have it replaced. If I wasn't in warranty there's no way I'd be paying that, I'd try and find a second hand unit and have someone code it for me.

Whacked the BBS back on and after 4 weeks I gave it a wash, still haven't tackled the interior  :embarrassed:

Swapped the austin wheels for bola fle 18x8 et42 with ebay vw centre caps

Fill the arches much better but think the rear could do with 5mm spacers.
