Nice collection LSBristol

Will, the BBS colour looks spot on.
Assuming the wheels are 8J, what offset are they? From the photos they don’t look like they need spacers

8.5J at ET44 so 6mm out from standard alloys. I want to take them out by 3mm at the front to total 9mm & 5mm at the back to total 11mm, which is 1mm shorter than the spacers I run with the Brescias.

These would be shims hence the need for a hub spigot extender to make them hub centric.

Assuming the Brescias are 7.5J ET49 then the BBS will sit around 18mm further out than the Brescias minus spacers. Clearance on the front arch will be tight.

Ah yes, you're correct at the 18mm, forgot to check on WillTheyFit. Might just do the rear then, after a bit more research.

More street cred with the bbs though

Not my car but it is a mk7.5, been polishing it up for a friend who recently bought. Also removed the interior and wet vacced it to remove smoke smells. The paint was pretty much grey before hand and you can see the paint condition before in the 2nd photo.

I like your wheels and that’s some difference to that black GTI, it must have added to the value.

It was just a paint enhancement (has silicon, fillers and sealant to mask scratches), not a correction (pure polish, no silicon or fillers) like yours Ceefeesh. So the scratches are still mostly there it really needs a 2 stage correction but the money was better spent on other bits first in my opinion hence going for an enhancement but still very much looks the part.

Mine went in for it's second MoT test this morning, all fine.

Shocked at just how few cars they had in the showroom. But they did have two MK8 Rs, a 22 and 72 plate plus a 73 plate Clubsport. Still not a fan of the front ends of the MK8s but these didn't look too bad. The 72 plate R looked well specced with Akra, sunroof, 19s and in black. Dread to think how much they want for it...

Noticed something very strange on my car yesterday. It's very dirty but on the front ns wing at the rear of the wheel arch were two clean perfect circles, one inside the other. Not done by hand as absolutely perfect, almost as if something had been attached. Still, will soon be covered up with more muck...
