Dropped mine at VW for it's MOT and major service. Thanks to a post on here the price is reasonable. The dealer has also reduced the MOT to £40 which was a nice surprise.

I spent yesterday trying to install my lowering springs... didn't go well. Passenger side, could drop the brake assembly enough to get the strut out. Don't suppose anyone here has done this and can shed any light?

Yes, they are a bit of a pain.
You could undo the 3 balljoint bolts and see if that gets you a bit more clearance..
Or, the 4x2 method.....

Had a new Pilkington windscreen fitted by Auto Windscreens. The original got hit by a stone that came off a concrete mixer lorry that I had the misfortune of being stuck behind a couple of weeks ago. It looks like they have done a good job, recalibrated the adas too.

Just need to get used to the firmer ride now. It's made more of a difference than I was expecting. Sport mode on the DCC is bumpy as hell now  Although I typically just use my individual mode, which has the dampers set in comfort.

Just for future reference you can request OEM glass from windscreen fitters, it just takes a little longer for the insurance company to authorise it.
