After an extensive discussion on what on earth happens to "sport" drive mode when you get in the car, I've installed (plugged in?) a pedalbox so I no longer have to worry about it.

Initial impressions are great, much prefer the feel of the accelerator with it turned on, however given the recent weather haven't had a chance to try it out properly. Will give more thoughts when it's dried up a bit so... May 2023?

Mine is permanently on. Your foot soon adapts so that you don't pull away too fast all the time!

LSBristol > approach SEAT dealer > ask for 20 nut caps > hand over small amount of cash > fit caps > live happily ever after

Very interested in this! Are they smaller? Reason the VW ones aren't on are because they wouldn't fit in the Bola nut holes!

Yes, they’re my go to thing when I have wheels that the VW bolt covers won’t fit into.

As an example:

Great tip. I'll get on that.

4th year ( Major) service done today on my service plan. Got the VAQ diff serviced too.
Car has 25k on the clock.
Spark plugs and air filter done too.
I find the shopdap.com website a great reference for working out what should be done when..

Pretty sure I’ll buy the all in warranty/ service plan- looks very good value at £700 for 2 years and car is coming that age when a big bill may be around the corner. Still feels solid though.

Booked mine in to get the windscreen changed due to a stone off the back of a cement lorry  I'm hoping when they actually see it they'll agree that it can be repaired as I don't think it's that bad.

I had loads of repairs to windscreens when I had my Discoveries, it was like a stone magnet. I think if the chip is less than a 5p piece in size and 10cm from an edge, it’s repairable? - been a while so measurements could be wrong - good luck anyway👍
